Tour schedule:
Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide & private car/van will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel, the rest of the day is free on your own.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square-Forbidden City-Beijing Hutong-Drum Tower
Hotel pick-up at 8:30am and begin a full day of touring. First visit Tiananmen Square– the largest city square in the world and the Forbidden City which used to be the residence of the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Then you will begin the journey of discovery to Beijing Hutong. While enjoying rickshaw ride, you will be able to experience the real and authentic life of Beijing locals. Besides that, you will also having the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful scenery of authentic Beijing as well. Climb up the Drum Tower, you will enjoy a broad view of Beijing hutongs and courtyard houses in an aerial view. Return to hotel around 5pm.

Day 3: Great Wall-Ding Tomb(underground palace)
Hotel pick-up at 8:30am and drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, located 50 miles away from the city. Hike on the wall for 1-2 hours then enjoy your lunch at a local Friendship restaurant. In the afternoon. visit the Ming Tombs where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were buried and visit the Ding Tomb (Underground Palace). We will provdide transportation back to the hotel afterwards.

Note: We will take you to the Mutianyu Great Wall, because it is considered the most beautiful part of the wall in Beijing and not as touristy as in Badaling. Yet, if you’d like to visit Badaling or Juyongguan, please let us know in your email or in the reservation form. We may substitute it with the same cost.

Day 4: Summer Palace, Capital Museum, Olympic Heritages
Hotel pickup around 9am and heading towards Summer Palace which well known as the largest and the most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. After lunch at a local family, visit Capital Museum. On the way back to your hotel, you may stop to take an exterior view of Beijing Olympic Heritages including Bird’s Nest, Water Cube and also the Beijing Olympic Village. Return to hotel around 5pm.

Day 5: Temple of Heaven & Depart Beijing
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven. Then transferr to the airport/railway station to catch your flight/train to your next destination.

There are more than 3 million vehicles in Beijing, and it is said that approximately 30,000 cars are sold every month, so heavy traffic is constant in the city (Rush Hours from 7:30-9:30 in the morning and 16:30-19:30 in the afternoon). We will try our best to tour according to the timetable, but we cannot guarantee that traffic will not delay our schedule. Our tour guide will notify you if a delay occurs.
B.There will be an extended amount of walking during this tour, therefore it is recommended that you wear sport shoes and clothes which are suitable for outdoor activities.
